I want to decorate the world!!!!
Seriously. Over the past week I have become semi-obsessed with daydreams of decorating. I want to walk through furniture shops, home decorating stores, read decorating magazines, look at home sales, surf websites, etc. I can't get enough. I imagine how I would decorate a room and it just makes me so happy. I think it's been brought on by the *possibility* that Dave and I might be able to have our own home soon. The frustrating part is that I really can't decorate my home now. My room already looks perfect and the rest of the house would just be ruined by the boys and their band heathens. So I'm stuck in this limbo state where all I have is my day dreams of what might be someday ... ;-(

Damn the Shins!
Dammit. I have shin splints. I've been trying to ignore the pain I've been feeling on the inside of my tibia hoping that it would go away. Dammit. The pain has gotten worse. It even aches now when I'm walking in my bare feet. I guess this is what I get for running in a great pair of running shoes that fit me perfectly and weigh nothing but are almost a year old. How stupid of me. A new pair of shoes and several days of no working out are in my future ;-(

Dirty Diapers
Dinner last night with Dave's family. Highlight of the night was when Dave's sister in law (s-i-l) and I were watching her 2 boys (2 years old and 5 months old). The lil one was being fussy, spitting up his peas, needing constant attention, etc. The 2 year old was crying cuz he wanted ice cream and to not eat dinner. They are usually super good kids but last night they were both just a bit cranky. I asked the s-i-l what she's gonna do when they are 2 and 4 years old and wreaking havoc as boys love to do. She said that she was gonna laugh at me cuz by then I'll be good and pregnant. Haha! I told her that Dave and I might need a bit more then 2 years before our 1st baby comes around. Last night Dave's family made lots of mini comments like these that talked of me and Dave in the future. It's good to know that Dave's family thinks of me as being around for awhile.
PS Dave just about gagged when the lil baby kept spitting back his peas. Plus the idea of touching a dirty diaper just about revolts him. I'm really not sure how that boy is gonna handle the truckloads of dirty diapers that come with kids. I'm sure the boy will step up to the plate as he always does but wish me some luck!

Things That Make Me Happy
1) Himalayan Food. *drool* I want more. Yum ;-9 The curry and the lamb and the bread. All of it is just so good and flavorful and perfect in my mouth. Must. Have. More.
2) Trying on my coworker Jackie's engagement ring. It just looked so perfect on my hand. I want! I want! I want! (someday)
3) Leaving work early ;-)

Best. Boyfriend. Ever!
I got home today and started looking at craigslist.org for potential new roommates. Dave still hadn't gotten back to me about his feelings on us living together and I'm really hating coming home each night to Scott and Steve. So Dave and I were talking later and I asked him what was the result of his thinking. Bottom line is that its only been 2 days and Dave needs more time to think things through (more like a month). I really don't blame him since I really should have given him more time but the issue kinda came up and I just had to to know his thoughts. Our biggest difference of opinion is that Dave would rather be seriously thinking about marriage before living together. While I would rather be living together before seriously thinking about marriage. This is a HUGE step for Dave that pretty much means that we'll be each others lobsters from now until death do us part. I completely can see his point of view but at 1st I was kinda mad b/c it wasn't what I expected to hear from him. But we kept on talking and he let me know how much he loves me and hopes that someday we do get married. At the same time I tried my best to be open and understanding of his feelings and NOT pressure him anymore than I already have.
I must say that I just love how that boy communicates with me. There was no yelling, name calling, petty bickering, silent treatments, stubbornness, quick words, dirty fighting, or even rash actions. Dave is just so calm and open and loving whenever we have a disagreement. He's not afraid to say I love you but I don't agree with you. Yet another reason why he is just about perfect ;-)
PS And he's hot! and successful and blond haired with blue eyes and tall and he's got the best butt and big feet!! How the fuck did I get so lucky???

Mountains & Valleys
Woo Hoo!!! Dave and I finally had the moving in together talk last night ;-)
On Monday, Scott and I had gotten into a heated argument over our living situation. Scott pretty much called me a bad roommie cuz I *gasp* have asked Scott and Steve to do their own dishes and to take out the trash. Scott feels that by doing this that I'm nagging them and they don't like that. But as I pointed out, that for the 1st 6 months that I lived with them that I NEVER nagged them about anything and in return nothing got done unless I did it. So after a whole lot of going back and forth it pretty much seems that Scott and Steve don't want to clean up after themselves but they want me to keep a clean house and for me to be happy with that. Talk about being a slave maid! At one point Scott even had the nerve to call me selfish b/c I kept saying things like "I'm the only one to do the dishes and I'm the only one who ever vacuums, and I'm the only one who has ever cleaned the community bathroom in the 8 months I've lived here." How dare I say "I" so many times!!! How do you even reason with that??? So I'm just really unhappy and I'm so mad at Steve and Scott and their mentality. I decided that whether Dave wants to move out with me or not that I'll be making a move in the near future.
So last night Dave and I are laying in bed together. I asked him what he thought about the idea of us moving in together someday. Dave said that honestly he had never thought about it which I completely believe everything is so perfect between us right now that I don't blame him for not looking for ways to change anything that we have. Dave asked me what I thought about the issue and I told him that I think we're ready for it and that it would be good for both of us. I told him that my only concern was that he needs space sometimes and with us living together it will take adjusting to find the level of independent time that Dave wants while at the same time making us both happy. And we might never be able to find that happy medium of space but if that happens then I'd rather find out now then after dating 2 years. Dave then asked me if this idea is a result of my unhappy living situation and I said that yes honestly it was but regardless I would still want to move in with him. SO Dave is taking some time to think about it which makes me happy cuz it seems like he is truly open to the idea.
PS My family was never big into making puzzles or playing board games. We lived on a farm and our recreational activities usually included building fences or pruning orange trees. Recently, Dave got me a semi-easy 500 piece puzzle and I am loving it! It's such a great joint activity for us to do together and such a great way to pass the time. I haven't done a puzzle since middle school and I never knew they could be so fun! I can't wait to hang it in my office.

Ambition is so HOTT
Can I just say how proud I am of my boy!
Seriously. The boy already has a great job that he likes and allows him to show his marketing skills. Now he just got an interview for a new position within his same company that will allow him to be even more creative and get a promo. Ambition is such a hot quality!

Weekend Update
What a wonderful lazy weekend ;-) Doing lots of nothing together is sometimes just what a couple needs. For the last few days Dave and I have been watching his parent's place which involves a whole lot of eating their food, laying in bed all day long, watching movies together all night long, drinking Starbucks at 11pm, and playing with CoCoa the dog. I'm so relaxed and I love it.
I've also been eating crappy junk food all weekend and I have the heartburn to prove it. Yuck.
Time for a nice 4 mile run and then some yoga. Happiness (with a side of some minor heartburn discomfort but it was sooo worth it!)

Reason #54367 Why I Love California
Besides the great weather, In N Out Burger, and hot surfer boys. We also have the 2nd best grocery store in the world Trader Joe's (my bf's store is 1st by default ;-p) And yes I know that there are Trader Joe's in other states but Cali has them on almost every corner. Trader Joe's rocks my socks off with their huge selection of natural foods and unique products.
I've decided to wait on broaching the moving in together subject for another 2 months. Lots of little reasons and none of them bad. Plus, I'd rather take things slow then rush into anything that we are not ready for.
PS Yet another reason why I love my bf: He lets me read the newspaper's wedding and engagement section to my heart's delight and never gets freaked out.
PPS Congrats to my Iowa friend (Tammers). She just found out that she is preggo with a baby boy! A boy is so perfect for her ;-D

Pissy Missy
Errrr ... I was kinda afraid this would happen. I've gotten myself so worked up over the possibility of living together. I'm so worried about the possible changes, what he'll think of the idea, and analyzing every possible hint that means maybe we shouldn't live together. It's starting to reach the point where I'm taking my frustration out on poor Dave and he really doesn't deserve that especially since I'm being such a ninny about telling him what’s on my mind. I just need to relax so that when I do talk to him that it wont be a huge ranting bitch fest on my side. I've gotten myself so worked up over the subject and that's what its gonna come out as instead of the loving light hearted discussion that I wanted. I'm afraid of change and I'm a wee bit afraid of commitment and this is what I do to myself over it.
I was majorly pissy with Dave last night. The poor boy had to deal with my huge amount of frustration and bitchiness even though he has no idea what is causing it. He was super great about it though. He told me lots of "it's ok honey. I understand your frustrated with something. Everything will be better tomorrow." and "I love you so very much. I hope you know that" (even though I was bitching at him for every lil thing he's done in the past week) and I even got "try to get some sleep but if you can't cuz your still upset then call me and we'll talk some more" (he stayed the night at his parent's house cuz they are gone for the weekend and Cocoa the dog needs to be taken care of. Him needing to be at his parent's house didn't help my bitchiness.)
That boy is great. I need to remember that. For some reason he just gets me and knows exactly what to say to make me feel better (even when I really really want to be bitchy at him).
PS I wore my skinny jeans last night and they looked great on me!!!! Seriously. I looked like one tiny, flat stomached, bitchy girl! Go me ;-D I still need to lose a few more pounds though before they fit me perfectly and I can wear any top I want with them but I'm optimistic that I'll be able to lose those pounds before Dave and my Reno/Tahoe trip. YAY ;-)

Scared
OK. So I'm starting to get scared about asking Dave to move in together. I'm not scared cuz I don't think that Dave thinks we should move in ever or that he's not committed to me. We've had talks and we both agree that this relationship is heading towards marriage someday. I'm scared cuz what we have right now is perfect and I love it so much. I enjoy every single routine that Dave and I have and I really don't want anything to change. If we move in together will he stop bringing me home gifts? Will he stop stroking my hair to make me fall asleep? Will he stop enjoying the meals I cook for him? etc.
PS Does anyone know what David Gray song they played at the end of Alias last night? So beautiful.
PPS I'm loving the new Howie Day song 'collide'.

Ahhhhh!!!
OK. So lately Dave and I have both begun to detest our roommates for some rather serious issues. Mine treat me like a maid and feel it is there right to 'accidentally' eat my food and play electric guitar at 6am in the morning. While Dave's have started throwing mini-parties about 5 times per week til 2am complete with loud music, empty pizza boxes all over, and beer bottles strewn about the floor and left for Dave to clean up. Not to mention that his roomies smoke a whole lot of herb and their house smells like one giant ash tray all the time. Both of us have talked to our roommates and it didn't help (in fact it prolly made things worse).
So ... I've been thinking over the past month that Dave and I could move in together BUT I'm not entirely sure that we are ready for it. I was thinking that it would be better to move in together sometime more like after we had been dating for a year. BUT with all this happening, plus we're older so we know more about what we want (and I sooo want him), plus if we moved in together it wouldn't be for 2 more months (cuz of his lease) and we'd have been dating 8 months total so that's not too bad, etc. And the more and more I think about it the more and more I think that I would LOVE to live with him and the more I think that we are ready for this (as ready as we'll ever be).
So I told myself that I would wait for him to bring all this up and wait for him to ask me cuz I want this to be something he is ready for. But now I'm thinking that I might just bite the bullet and ask him! What do you think??? Should I wait for him? Would this be a huge mistake if I brought it up??? Is it too early?
PS. Mmmm ;-9 I love peanut butter.

Can Everyday Be Valentine's Day???
I had a super time last night. I was a bit afraid that Dave would be stressed out from work and not have a good time at dinner and I was feeling a bit guilty that I was making Dave go out to a fancy restaurant when I'm sure what he really wanted to do was sit back at home and chill. Adding to Dave's stress is that his company is doing a re-org and Dave might get switched to a new team. No more baked items ;-(. He might also get a promotion so Dave is pretty nervous to find out what's going to happen when the re-org gets announced this Wednesday.
Traffic ended up being super light so we got to the steakhouse before it was even time for our reservation. They were able to seat us right away which was even nicer. I thought that they would be more packed on v-day but it's super nice place and they didn't pack the schedule too tight. The steaks were excellent and the wine was even better. A really nice, romantic time.
We got home and Dave and I listened to some music while laying in bed together and talking. A perfect chill way to end the evening. I fell asleep pretty early but Dave was kept awake by his roommates and their friends being super loud during their "it's v-day and we're single so lets all get together and get drunk" mini-celebration til 2am. I think that Dave was also kept up with thoughts about the re-org but the roomie situation certainly didn't help. Not to be selfish but I'm kinda glad that his roommates aren't perfect cuz it just makes it easier someday for us to move in together. Plus my roomies have been huge asses lately and I am so not blissful with my current living situation but that’s a whole other ranting blog post.

Valentine's Day
I'm gonna go see Modest Mouse!!! I'm gonna go see Modest Mouse!!! EEEE!!!
OK. It's official. I have the best bf ever invented. EEEEEE!!!! Last night, he came over for dinner and surprised me with some gorgeous red roses, box of chocolate candies AND a weekend vacation that includes seeing Modest Mouse in Reno!!! WOOOO!! Our plans are to leave Sat. March 5th to South Lake Tahoe (the Nevada side), play in the snow, do some gambling, do some drinking and stay the night in a little mountain lodge. Then on Sunday we'll drive the hour down the mountain to Reno, do some more gambling, do some more drinking, watch a Modest Mouse concert, and stay the night before heading back to reality on Monday. Eeee!!! I can't believe he did this for me ;-D He doesn't even like Modest Mouse. That boy so gets me. This is pretty much my dream Valentine's Day. Yay ;-)
Tonight we're still going to his favorite steakhouse for dinner. I'll give him his gifts then too. I hope that they impress him as much as his gifts impressed me. Actually, I still can't believe that he's doing all this for me. It's like some odd dream that I am finding hard to believe. Especially after my past v-days.
A Short History of my Past Valentine's
I never really had a valentine until I was 19. I did have boyfriends in high school but they never lasted through the month of February. So I always had huge expectations for this day hoping that someone would someday go over the top romantic and make Valentine's Day as special as I imagined it to be.
2000 – I was 19 and had been dating my first serious boyfriend for about 11 months. He went to college in Southern California while I was in my freshman year at a college in Central Cali. I think that he came the weekend before and gave me a small stuffed animal and a single red rose. We were both in college and he was always super poor so it wasn't what I had always hoped for but it wasn't a huge let down either.
2001 – I was with the same boyfriend as the previous year. By this time he had finished his undergrad degree and moved in to my parent's home. I had discovered that he was a huge a** with a temper problem and he treated me like a dog. My parent's saw this too but he was my first real love and we all know how dumb we can be when it comes to puppy love. I'll call him Mr Ugg-Nasty cuz I hate him so much. So for Valentine's Day Mr Ugg-Nasty and I went to the World's Largest Farm Show (in a few towns over from where I went to college) and spent the day with my Dad and little brother looking at farm machinery (remember I grew up on a farm). It was a horrible rainy cold day. We came home and went to go feed the livestock which sucked cuz it was so wet and muddy and the wind would blow the hay right back at you when you tried to toss it into the livestock pen. So I'm wearing a nasty thick flannel and wool jacket, beanie, sweatpants, and mud boots and I'm standing near the water hose to water the livestock. Ugg-Nasty comes up to me and gets down on one knee and proposes to me!!! He gives me this speech about how this is the way he wants to spend the rest of his life and this is the most perfect setting for us to become engaged in. Not romantic at all. He then shows me a ring and I want to cry not cuz I'm so happy but cuz it's the world's smallest diamond fleck that has ever been set. I later found out that it's only 1/8 of a carrot and he bought it for $250. I guess it was the thought that counted. Needless, to say I later realize what a scum bag he is and break up with him later that year.
2002 – I'm single so I spend the day surrounded by all my favorite sorority sisters. We get drunk and attend a huge fraternity party. My happiest Valentine's Day so far (until this year).
2003 – I had been dating Jay for about 5 months but he was still in the bay area and I was still in Central Cali so we didn't get to spend the day together. My v-day gift that year was an ant farm.
2004 – Jay and I were living together. He was complaining about money (he always complains about money) so I suggested that we have a low key night and he cook dinner for me and in return I would pick out a super nice wine for us to drink. I don't remember what Jay cooked but I do remember it wasn't much fun cuz Jay was slaving in the kitchen for most of the night preparing this super complex meal while I sat on the couch by myself.
* NOTE: I feel like a major brat complaining about my past Valentine's Days when I think I should just be lucky that I've had someone to love me on that special day. It's just that I've always been so frustrated that no boy (besides Dave) has ever gotten me. I'm really not that complicated of a person so it's not like they just couldn't figure me out it's just that they didn't try! I'm not into stuffed animals, I don't find watering the sheep to be romantic, I can buy my own ant farm at Toys-R-Us. But Dave did it. He thought of what I would want instead of what he wanted or what is the standard recipe for v-day gifts. I love Modest Mouse. I love weekend getaways. I love Tahoe. I love having fun. And I love that Dave gets me ;-)

Poo Poo Heads
My boyfriend called my best friend a "poo poo head".
Over the past month I've been telling Dave not to break the bank on v-day. And I've truly meant this in my head. But in my heart I'm secretly wishing for the huge romantic v-day celebration that I've never gotten. I've never even been taken out to dinner on Valentine's. I think my most expensive v-day gift was an ant farm that I got 2 years ago. Sad.
So I'm talking to Britney and she's telling me that I'm being an idiot for telling Dave one thing and secretly expecting for another. I was just preparing myself for a huge let down and I completely agree with that. The poor boy can't read my mind! I can't even read my own mind sometimes.
So Dave and I are talking last night and I tell him how I'm not letting him know how much v-day means to me and how I was talking to Brit and she said I was being an idiot. At first Dave gets kinda frustrated with Britney saying how she's getting bad thoughts in my head. But I keep telling him that her advice was good and I need to tell him what I want. His response: "do you really think that I would let our 1st v-day pass without making a big deal out of it???" Awww! So we'll see what happens. Dave gets me much more then anyone else has ever gotten me (or tried to) so I know that whatever Dave does (big or small) that I'm sure to love it.
PS I did my man-romantic deed for the month. Saturday night, Dave stayed home to watch NASCAR. I went to our local pizza shop and ordered his fav pizza and had it delivered to his house. He loved it. I figured it was the man equivalent of having flowers sent to his house. ;-)

What gifts did your boyfriend get you on Thursday night?
Dave has always been awesome about getting me lil gifts from time to time. Sometimes these gifts are free stuff from work. Sometimes he gets me little stuff like a sprite for my frequently upset tummy or chocolate candies cuz I love them. And sometimes he gets me bigger stuff like this really cool bamboo candle that he got me 5 months ago or surprise sushi.
Now believe me, I don't feel that these gifts are mandatory to earn my love nor do I feel that if Dave came sans gifts that it would mean that he no longer loves me. But I do find it extremely caring, thoughtful and generous that Dave brings me these small lil reminders that even when he's stopping at the gas station that he thinks of me and the possibility that I might want a sprite sometime soon.
I've noticed though that over the past month or two, Dave has truly fallen completely in love with me. I know he's always loved me but I don't think that he adored me as much as he does know. I don't know what brought about this change but I can see it in his eyes. The way he looks at me with such intense love, the way he kisses me so frequently as we watch the history channel together after dinner, the way he touches me when we're sleeping in bed. I love it. It's different then it was 6 months ago and it's hard to explain but believe me I feel the difference and I love it.
So with this change Dave started bringing me gifts almost every time I see him. And I see him almost 5 times a week so that's a lot of gifts! Last night after work he went to a local home store for some random necessities for himself. When he came over for dinner he surprised me with:
* An awesome cucumber melon candle (I love candles and I love fruity scents)
* Rubber dishwashing gloves (I like super hot water when I'm washing dishes and Dave is always afraid I'm gonna scald myself)
* A 500 piece puzzle for us to put together and then I can hang it in my office when we're done (his idea). It's a really cute outdoorsy picture so it's perfect for my office.
* A beef jerky kit (free from work) He's been a bit zealous in his idea that we can buy some meat and make homemade beef jerky.
* Vanilla PlateScrapers (free from work)
* Hot fudge and caramel ice cream topping (free from work) Mmmm ;-9

Wonder Boyfriend and the Story of the Spices
When Jay and I broke up and I moved out, we had a super hard time splitting up our stuff. Jay and his only child mentality felt that it was his right to keep EVERYTHING that wasn't clearly mine. And by that I mean that he let me keep my books and my clothes without throwing a major hissy fit. I won’t even go into the screaming debacle that occurred over a leg of lamb that to this day I swear I bought cuz I'm the one who grew up on a sheep farm and knows how to cook lamb well. He kept the leg of lamb after ripping it out of my hands and screaming at me and I still have not forgiven him for that. I can probably pin point that as the moment when I knew that I was no longer able to fall back in love with him.
Jay and I had a rather large spice collection that we used for cooking all the time. The collection originally started out from him but then through the 2 years we were together, it grew from both of us adding to it. So needless to say, Jay didn't let me take any of it when I moved out. Over the past 8 months since Jay and I split, I've been trying slowly to make my own collection and I've been doing good but it's a slow job.
So in my boy's quest to achieve wonder boyfriend status, last night he brought me home a massive quantity of spices from work!!! WOOOO!! Seriously, I have more spices then I know what to do with. I am just so impressed by his thoughtfulness and generosity. AND I have spices to cook with!!! ;-D

The boy has won me over. Completely won me over.
Friday, we went with about 20 of his coworkers/friends to City Beach. It's this really cool place where you can drink alcohol, rock climb, eat food, play basketball, throw darts, and play pool along with lots of other things all at the same time. Never a dull moment for anyone. I had a good time. I knew mostly everyone there already so it was relaxing for me. Dave was uber good boyfriend. He was so completely attentive to me the entire night and even when the other boys went to go play bball and they begged him to join in the game he still stayed by my side which is way more then I asked for.
Saturday night, Dave came over to my house and I made him Thai Style Peanut Butter Pork (yum!) and we watched Boat Trip while hanging out with Scott. Chill Time. Around 11pm, Dave and I went to bed and Scott headed out to the bars with Eric the drummer. SO I wake up at 4:30am and I can hear Scott and this random drunk girl and I'm nosey so I walk out into the hallway and I see Scott with this girl in his room. 5 minutes later his door gets closed. The next morning Scott and I both get up early and Dave leaves to get some riding time at the skate park. Scott tried to deny that anything happened between him and the drunk girl but I could hear things since we share a wall between our bedrooms. I'm so disappointed in him and I feel absolutely horrible for Courtney (even though I'm not her biggest fan). More then ever I am so thankful to have a bf that is faithful.
On Sunday, Dave came by around 3pm to watch the Super Bowl. I made this absolutely yummy buffalo chicken chip dip that was a concoction of shredded chicken, blue cheese, and hot wing sauce and other stuff. *drool*. Dave had been invited to 3 other Super Bowl parties but he wanted to just spend a chill evening with me which I was more then OK with. For dinner we grilled some hot links, veggie kabobs and I made cheesy bread and we drank some beer and wine. A very good time.
After the game was over, we went to lay in my bed and watch some TV. For the 4th time I told him that we really didn't have to do anything big for v-day. He told me that I was bluffing and that I would be disappointed if he didn't break the bank to impress me. And I told him no that honestly I wouldn't be disappointed in the least bit. I told him that he shows me that he loves me everyday, he rubs my hair to make me fall asleep, he treats me beyond good and he is faithful to me. That is the best v-day gift that I could ever ask for ;-)

Dear Pretty Diamond Ring,
I saw you today as I walked from through the mall on my way to Victoria's Secret. It was love at first sight. I wanted so much to walk into the jewelry store and ask to try you on. You would look so perfect on my hand. I think I love you. When will you become mine???
As Miss Melanie says, you make me all wistful. I want you so badly. But I know that time is needed before I earn you and I can respect that since it will make the day I get you so much more special. Please be mine someday.

I'm In LOVE! ;-D
I love the boy. I adore him. I know it's only been 5 months but I so want to marry that boy. I want to know that he will be the one years from now that I fall asleep with every night. The one that goes to the grocery store when I am 8 months pregnant and I am craving pickle flavored ice cream.
Maybe it's the month of February and there are tons of lovey feelings in the air but I'm so in love with that boy right now.
I'm also in complete love with my new phone. Seriously it rocks hard core! Best phone ever invented. So tiny. Such a great keyboard. And it takes some great pics. I love my new phone.
PS I'm also in love with the fact that I've lost 5 pounds. I even tried on my favorite cute jeans that fit super snug since I've gained 15 pounds and guess what??? They fit (a lil more snug then ideally but still they look good enough to wear on Super Bowl Sunday). WOO! Go me!

Things That Make Me Happy Today
1) I got my new phone in the mail!! WOOO ;-D It's so small and cute and it has the fold out keyboard so I can be a text message whore and it has a camera! And it was cheap!!! YAY.
2) I've been so ultra good on my diet. Last night, we went to Dave's parent’s house for dinner and we had Mexican Pizza and I was such a good girl and had just a smidgen of pizza (I ate the topping and left the crust) with lots of salad. And today at work my coworkers had a box of bagels for grabs for breakfast and a sushi fest for lunch and I LOVE bagels and sushi but I was so good and I said no. I can't believe this diet has been so easy to follow and it's been so effective. I weigh myself each morning (even though I know I'm not supposed to) and I see results!
3) Have I said before that I have the best bf that has ever been created? I absolutely adore that boy. He brings me home so many free samples from work which I think is so sweet cuz he doesn't have to and it lets me know that he's always thinking of me. Last night he brought me home a plethora of carb smart baking items, candies, and this super cute lamb cake mold. And last night as we were going to sleep he cuddled up next to me and just looked at me with so much love and adoration in his eyes as he rubbed my back to make me fall asleep. He didn't rub my back for sex or to bargain for his own back rub. He did it cuz he cares! And it's just so cute all the little things he does for me. Like give me his warm pj bottoms with the ribbing at the bottom to sleep in even though they are super comfy and he could easily wear them. I'm smitten ;-)

Valentine's Day Ideas for the Boy
* dinner at his favorite expensive steakhouse
* peanut butter cookies
* card with a love note inside
* flavored warming gel (did you really want to know about that?)
* sex dice (which you also didn't want to know about)
AND just in case he gets me a real gift even though I've told him twice that I don't want to do gifts and he acts like he doesn't hear me, then I'll find a nice hotel at the beach or in Tahoe and take him there for a relaxing weekend together. My other idea was tickets to a baseball game but we just did that in September. I also thought of getting him tickets to some type of race (bmx, motocross, or car) but I'm having a hard time finding him tickets to an event that I KNOW he will like. I could also get him some type of bmx gear or a gadget but I really think that v-day gifts should be romantic and thoughtful. A new pair of BMX pants just don't do that for me.

Lovely
Life is lovely, boy is lovely, diet is lovely. Not much to report.
Last night, I cooked Dave some fried chicken (really it was oven baked but he doesn't need to know that!). Of course I gave him my skin since I'm being a good girl and am not allowed to have chicken skin nor breaded things. The diet has been super easy to follow and I haven't even cheated yet!! WOOO! So far I've lost 2 pounds. Yay.
After dinner, Dave looked on line for some new skate pads and helmet. Poor boy has been riding around with no safety gear and coming home each day with massive bruises and scrapes that he wont let me hydrogen peroxide with glee (not that I get joy out of it or anything!). I was there looking over Dave's shoulder to make sure all his new gear matched (it's my job as the girlfriend).
Scott's been acting super funky lately. I'm not sure if it's cuz he is finally realizing that his gf is a domineering bitch who will mandate control of his every waking moment or if something else is wrong. Whatever. Scott and I have completely lost that closeness that we used to have and I miss it so much. I'm not really sure how to get it back either. Maybe Scott just allowed the closeness as an attempt to get in my pants but since he has Courtney and/or I've made it clear that my pants are off limit to him, now he's just not interested in me as a friend. I don't know. Whatever ;-( It sure does make living in my house not much fun anymore. Scott's always in a mood or at the gym, band practice or school. And Steve isn't really my type of person but even when he is around he's always with his gf and they are doing something totally coupley. Dave and I aren't ready for living together yet and I'm not looking at schelping my stuff in another move since I've only lived here for less then a year. So I guess I'm stuck. Woo.
